Fun Family Activities at the Zoo

 

1. Curious about how these animals interact with people? Want to know more about where they come from and what they eat? Enjoy Meet and Greets with some cuddly friends.

2. Check out the Wild About Animals show.

3. Try your hand at feeding the giraffes.

4. The Children’s Trail is not to be missed. Kids will love seeing the quills on the African Crested Porcupine and meeting the Spectacled Owls.

5. Don’t miss Monkey Village on the Tropics Trail where you may be surprised to see a  Squirrel monkey jump right out at you. As you walk along the pathway, monkeys will be peaking through the trees or balancing on ropes above you.

6. Harmony Farm’s petting zoo houses a pony, goats, sheep, horses and will soon have dairy cows, There is also special programming here including Breakfast on the Farm, Horse Care and Critter Care.

7. Be first among your friends to RIDE a Camel! There is  a$5 additional fee for this excursion.

8. New to the Zoo is Stingray Bay. Get up close, and get a chance to feed, these delightful sea creatures. There are also Bamboo and Nurse sharks in the tanks.

9. The Endangered Species Carousel and Leapin’ Lagoon water play space will let your little ones burn off energy and enjoy play time.

10. Also new to the Zoo is Yakulla Caverns. Explore the water elements and tunnels and create memories!
