Top 10 List for the Arizona Science Center

 

1. There are 300 exhibits at the museum and most are hands-on!

2. In All About You, you can learn about how we remember things, how we move and how we heal after we are hurt.  

3. Learn all about home construction! The hands-on exhibits will teach you about electricity and carpentry.

4. Check out the Dorrance Planetarium. There multiple shows here designed for different age groups. Learn about stars, solar system and planets and how ancient Egyptians contributed to the study of astronomy.

5. In the Forces of Nature exhibit,you’ll learn all about wind, tectonic plates and get a better understanding of energy.

6. Don’t miss the IMAX theater. This unique experience of the large screen lends itself to beautiful images of science and nature.

7. For an extra fee of $4, try out the climbing wall which has two courses.

8. In the exhibit How We Live With The Sun, you can learn more about electricity and heat and how we can all better protect ourselves from the hot Arizona weather.

9. All kids love music and the science center helps them get creative in the Music Landing exhibit.

10. Saturday Science Classes: Spend time with your kids on a Saturday morning and learn about many topics including time, space and electricity.

General Admission: Adults: $12, Seniors and Children (ages 3-17): $10

 

Planetarium: General admission cost plus $8 for Adults and Seniors and $7 for Children.

 

IMAX: General admission is not required and the IMAX has a separate admission charge. Adults and Seniors: $8, Children (ages 3-17) $7

 

Parking: The parking garage for Heritage and Science Park is located at 5th St. And Monroe and your parking cost will be validated at the museum.

This is an interactive water fountain at the Science Center. Touching the sensors cause water to shoot in different directions.
